Biography
2006-07: Mulherin recorded two top-30 times at the state championships, finishing 26th in the 100-yard backstroke (1:07.89) and 28th in the 200-yard backstroke (2:26.51). Mulherin earned two top-three finishes in Ithaca’s victory over Alfred, finishing third in the 100-yard backstroke and swimming with the third-place 200-yard medley relay squad.
2005-06: Mulherin competed in the backstroke and freestyle events. She recorded a season best time of 1:12.13 in the 100-yard backstroke against Rochester and registered a top time of 2:32.70 against William Smith.
2004-05: Mulherin’s top finish came in the 100-yard backstroke against William-Smith, where she finished fourth with a time of 1:11.20.
High School: A 2004 graduate of Bow High School, Mulherin was coached by Liz Waidilich. She earned four varsity letters as a member of the swimming & diving team and served as team captain her junior and senior years. Mulherin earned three additional varsity letters as a member of the tennis team.
Personal: A history major, she is the daughter of Tom and Nina Mulherin.
