Biography

2006: Chinigo, a first-team Empire 8 all-star, stated all 47 games in the outfield, batting .355 with 44 hits, 39 runs scored, 36 RBI and nine stolen bases. She went two-for-four with a career-high four RBI in a win over Cazenovia and went four-for-seven with six RBI and two runs scored as Ithaca swept a doubleheader at Cortland. Chinigo also drove I three runs in victories over Elmira, Hartwick and Utica.
 
2005: Chinigo played in 39 games, with26 starts. She batted .263 with 20 hits, two home runs, 17 RBI and 17 runs. She was named to the all-tournament team at the NCAA Northeast Regional tournament. She was named Empire 8 Player of the Week once. She hit a solo home run against King’s on March 19, the first of her career.

2004: Chinigo was a first-team Empire 8 all-star and was named a second-team NFCA northeast region all-star. She batted .296 with 24 RBIs, 32 hits and 22 runs scored. Chinigo stole a team-best 15 bases. She went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs in a sweep of Cazenovia. She hit her first career triple in a win over St. John Fisher, where she also recorded four RBIs and three hits.

High School: Chinigo was a four-year letter winner for coach James Cotter at Norwich Free Academy. She was a first-team All-ECC selection her senior season, an honorable mention All-ECC selection her junior year and a second-team All-ECC selection her freshman and sophomore seasons.

Personal: An applied psychology major, she is the daughter of Paul and Cathy Chinigo.
