Ithaca College Athletics

2004-05: Hansen filled a need on the Ithaca roster by competiting in diving events his sophomore season. He finished 10th in the conference and 18th in the state in the 1-meter diving event (220.50). Hansen recorded a second-place finish against Rochester and a third-place finish against Geneseo in the 1-meter diving competition. Hansen also swam at the conference meet, finishing 15th in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:33.08) and 16th in the 400-yard individual medley (4:55.49). In Ithaca's win over Bloomsburg, Hansen swam with the second-place 400-yard medley relay squad (3:54.75).

2003-04: Hansen competed in the state meet in the 100-yard breaststroke, recording the 28th-fastest time (1:08.24). In a Bomber win over Union, Hansen swam with two third-place relay teams. Against Cortland, Hansen took third in the 100-yard breaststroke.

High School: A 2003 graduate of Watkins Glen High School, Hansen was coached by Susie Ball. He earned five varsity letters as a member of the swimming & diving team and served as team captain. Hansen was a three-time conference all-star and was the sectional champion in the 200- (2003) and 500-yard (2001, 2003 freestyle events.

Personal: A chemistey education major, he is the son of Robert and Karen Hansen.
