Biography
2005-06: Keenan posted a 7-5 record in doubles play during the fall season, including a first round victory in the third doubles bracket at the NYSWCAA Championships, where she advanced to the quarterfinals. Keenan also posted doubles wins over Utica, St. John Fisher and Nazareth in the Empire 8 tournament.
2004-05: Keenan led Ithaca, posting a 17-10 record in the fall, including a team-best seven singles wins at sixth singles and a team-high nine wins at third doubles, with 23 total wins on the season. She won her first three doubles matches of the fall and first two singles matches. Keenan recorded singles and doubles victories over Alfred (Empire 8 finals), Nazareth, Oneonta, Rochester, St. Lawrence and Utica (Empire 8 quarterfinals). She was the lone Ithaca winner against Cortland, winning sixth singles, 6-2, 6-3. She advanced to the quarterfinals of the NYSWCAA championships at third doubles.2003-04: Keenan posted a 9-5 overall record, including a perfect 4-0 singles record and five doubles wins, playing primarily at the third doubles spot. She recorded her first career doubles victory with an 8-5 win over Elmira. She won the singles C bracket and advanced to the doubles B bracket at the St. Lawrence Invitational. She advanced to the doubles C bracket semifinals at the William Smith tournament, before inclement weather cancelled the final two matches. Keenan was an Empire 8 Presidents’ List selection in the fall and spring and an ITA Scholar-Athlete recipient.
High School: A 2004 graduate of Palmyra-Macedon High School, Keenan was coached by David Beaucage. She was a three-time section V all-star and a three-time first-team all-Finger Lakes league selection.
Personal: An English major, she is the daughter of William and Ann Keenan.
