Biography
2006: Meacham received honorable mention to the Empire 8 all-star team and was a second-team District I all-academic selection. She was named Empire 8 Goalie of the Week three times and posted career-best totals of 14 wins (third on Ithaca’s single-season list) and a 0.47 goals-against average. Meacham posted a shutout streak of 745:44 over 12 games and made a season-best six saves in the win at Utica. She stopped six shots in the NCAA playoffs, including five against defending national champion Messiah.
2005: Meacham earned first-team Empire 8 and NYSWCAA all-star honors. She recorded eight solo shutouts and 11 overall while ranking among the national leaders in save percentage (ninth) and goal-against average (21st). Five of her shutouts came in overtime games. Meacham matched her career high with 11 saves in a win at Plattsburgh and was named Defensive MVP of the Cardinal Classic. She topped her personal best, making 13 saves against Nazareth in the Empire 8 final and stopped two penalty kicks as the Bombers advanced to the NCAA playoffs. Meacham made 10 saves against Union in the NCAA playoffs. She was named Empire 8 Goalie of the Week four times.
2004: Meacham started all but one game and received honorable mention to the Empire 8 all-star team. She had a hand in 11 shutouts, setting a school record for freshmen. Meacham recorded nine solo shutouts, including four in a row at one point, and was named Empire 8 Goalie of the Week three times. She recorded a season-high 11 saves in her collegiate debut, a 1-0 win over Geneseo. Meacham stopped four penalty kick to help Ithaca advance past Utica in the Empire 8 Championship Tournament semifinals and stopped another penalty kick as Ithaca advanced past Nazareth in the conference final. She was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List following the fall and spring semesters.
High School: A 2004 graduate of Massena Central School, Meacham was coached by Betty Robert. She was an all-conference pick and team captain as a senior. She also lettered in basketball and softball.
Personal: An accounting major, she is the daughter of Christopher and Karen Meacham.
