Biography
2006: Bovenzi competed in four races as a sophomore and recorded a pair of top 25 finishes, placing 23rd at Oneonta and 24th at Hamilton. She recorded a season-best time of 20:06 at Rensselaer’s Saratoga Invitational.
2005: Bovenzi was among Ithaca’s top-seven finishers in four of the five races she ran as a freshman. She placed 19th at Houghton and 20th at Cornell. Her top time of 20:48 was at the Hamilton Invitational.
High School: A graduate of Communications High School, Bovenzi was coached by John Hein. She earned the coaches award and also letter in track and field.
Personal: A television-radio and history major, she is the daughter of Lawrence and Eileen Bovenzi.
