Biography

2005: Patterson was one of Ithaca’s top vault, uneven bars and balance beam competitors. Her uneven bars average ranked second on the team. She recorded a score of 9.200 or higher on four different occasions on the bars, including a 9.275 first-place finish against Springfield. Her top score on the balance beam was a 9.575 at the NCGA Championships. Patterson recorded a season-best score of 9.250 on the vault at Cornell. She was named to the NCGA Academic Team.

2004: Patterson owned Ithaca’s third-best average on the balance beam, including a 9.6 at Cornell that ranks as the program’s fifth-highest score ever. She won event at Ursinus and Cortland. Her top performance in the uneven bars came at the ECAC Championships, where she placed 14th (9.275). Patterson notched a career-high 9.4 in the vault at Brown and matched that figure twice more during the season.

2003: Patterson’s top all-around score (36.175) came against Cortland and her highest finish was second at Brockport (35.425). She recorded three runner-up finishes in the vault, with a top score of 9.325. Her best uneven bars score (9.2000) was good for second place against Cortland. She notched a season-best 9.475 on the balance beam, taking second against Springfield.

High School: Patterson was coached by John Roth at Lakeland High School and Jamie Winkler at Galaxy Gymnastics. She was a six-time all-American, a Level 9 Eastern Championship qualifier and was selected for high school nationals.

The daughter of Thomas and Martha Patterson, she is a clinical science/exercise science major.
