Ithaca College Athletics

2004: McGreal earned first-team all-conference and second-team all-state and all-region honors. He was Ithaca’s top runner in four of eight races, including the NCAA Atlantic Region qualifier where he finished 10^th overall in a season-best time of 25:37.9. McGreal placed 12^th at the state race and took third place in the Empire 8 Championship. He was Ithaca’s top finisher at St. Lawrence and Hamilton, posting a career-high finish of sixth place in both races.

2003: McGreal, the Empire 8 Rookie of the Year, ran in eight races, including the state and regional championships. He was a first-team all-state and all-conference selection. He finished in Ithaca’s top seven in all eight races, including a career-best finish of 12th at Rensselaer. McGreal ran a career-best time of 26:35, finishing 44th at regionals. He finished 20th at the state championships in 26:44.

High School: At Boston College High School, McGreal ran for coach Ron Glennon. He was a cross country and track and field MVP and a Patriot League all-scholastic selection.

Personal: A student in the exploratory program, he is the son of William McGreal and Carol Sweeney.
