Biography

2005-06: Mender was one of the program’s top newcomers; his led Bomber freshmen in pins and tied for third overall. He posted a third-place finish at the Williamstown Invitational, winning three matches by fall.
 
High School: A 2005 graduate of Glens Falls High School, Mender was coached by Kennon Englemann and Jeremy Davis. He was a Section II runner-up as a junior and sectional champion as a senior. He was a state qualifier as a senior and was a two-time place winner (finishing sixth and fourth) at the New York State Greco-Roman and Freestyle championships.

Personal: A student in the exploratory program, he is the son of Michael Mender and Gayle Mender.
