High School: Schiafo was a two-time Team Captain and five-year starter for Red Hook in wrestling, while he also had a strong prep career in football as well...Posted 106 career victories...Was a five-time Section IX finalist...Was a Section IX Champion as a senior, earning qualification to the NYSPHSAA State Championships...Was named Red Hook's Most Outstanding Wrestler in both his junior and senior seasons...Named Red Hook's Comeback Wrestler of the Year as a sophomore...Was named the program's Rookie of the Year as an eighth-grader...Helped Red Hook to three Section IX Team Championships during his career.
