Biography
2015: Started all 20 games for the Bombers… Earned NSCAA All-America Third Team and All-Region First-Team honors… Named Empire 8 Defensive Player of the Week twice… Season highlight came against Stevens on Sept. 26, where she recorded 12 saves in a 1-1 draw… Recorded seven shutouts and combined for nine… Finished second in the Empire 8 in goals against average (.744), save percentage (.891) and total saves (123).
2014: Coppolecchia started every game in goal for the Bombers in 2014, giving her an impressive 15-4-1 record. Coppolecchia was named to the NSCAA All-East Region First Team, marking the first regional honor of her career. She ranked second in the Empire 8 with a .751 goals-against average, while her 10 shutouts marked the most in the conference. She recorded a .854 save percentage and made 88 saves throughout the season. Her effort earned her a spot on the All-Empire 8 First Team, marking her second straight all-conference nod. Coppolecchia also earned E8 Defensive Player of the Week honors in the opening weekend of the season. |
2014 game-by-game statistics2013: Coppolecchia started every game for the Bombers, as she compiled a record of 19-3-0. She was named a D3Soccer.com All-American, and was named the D3Soccer.com Goalkeeper of the Year. Coppolecchia shut out defending national champion Messiah in the NCAA Playoffs, helping the Bombers reach the Elite Eight for the fifth time in seven seasons and the first time since 2011. She was named Empire 8 Defensive Player of the Week three times in 2013. |
