The countdown to Cortaca is officially on! On Saturday, November 14, 2026, Ithaca College will renew its rivalry with SUNY Cortland at Yankee Stadium in the 67th Annual Cortaca Jug game presented by Visions Federal Credit Union. Are you looking for a convenient way to get to the Bronx to cheer on the Bombers?

The Division of Student Affairs and Campus Life is excited to share that it will be coordinating round-trip coach bus transportation from campus to Yankee Stadium. Traveling with IC offers an easy alternative; no need to worry about the cost of gas, tolls, parking, or overnight lodging. Whether this will be your first Cortaca or you're ready for another exciting chapter in this legendary rivalry, riding the student fan bus is a convenient way for you and your friends to make the trip to the Bronx.

Buses will depart from campus on the morning of Saturday, November 14, and return to Ithaca following the conclusion of the game. The cost to ride the student fan bus is $20, while riders will enjoy complimentary light snacks and refreshments.

Students interested in riding the fan bus will need to complete a registration form, which will open the week of September 28 – October 2. Space on the fan bus will be limited, so students interested in taking advantage of this transportation option are encouraged to keep an eye on their email for the official registration announcement coming soon!

Student tickets for Cortaca at Yankee Stadium are available now through Ticketmaster. Remember that a game ticket and bus reservation are separate and students planning to ride the Cortaca Student Fan Bus will need both.
