SCHNECTADY, N.Y. – For the second straight weekend, the Ithaca College golf program finished atop the leaderboard as the Bombers took home first place at the Union Fall Invitational on Saturday and Sunday at the Mohawk Golf Course with a two-round total of 641 (+57). Ithaca led wire-to-wire after a Saturday round of 319 (+27) and followed with 322 (+30) on Sunday.

Ithaca won the tournament by nearly 40 strokes over Union (679, +95), while Cortland finished third with 682 (+98) and Vassar took fourth with 696 (+112).

Helena Winterberg tied for top medalist honors with a two-round total of 157 (+11) as she shot a 79 on Saturday and 78 on Sunday. She carded three birdies in the tournament, including two of the first three holes during Sunday's round.

Brianna Morrison and Annelise Stencel tied for fourth with 161 (+15). Morrison shot rounds of 83 and 78, while Stencel carded the low round of the tournament with 74 on Saturday and followed with 87 on Sunday.

All three of Morrison's birdies occurred during her Sunday round as she went one-under on the back nine. Stencel fired four birdies on Saturday with a 35 on the back and she carded one birdie on Sunday.

Abby Bladen tied for sixth with 162 (+16) with two birdies over the weekend. Hayden Homann finished 17th with a 182 (+36).

Ithaca heads to the Williams Invitational this weekend, September 26-27.
