ITHACA, N.Y. – After an extensive search, the Ithaca College Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is pleased to announce that Jessica (Anderson) Gammons '12

will serve as the next assistant director of sports medicine.
In this role, Gammons will lead and coordinate all aspects of sports medicine for intercollegiate athletics, oversee athletic training assignments, schedules, oversee medical clearance, and work with the team physicians on all operational needs of the sports medicine department.
Gammons has worked at Ithaca as an assistant athletic trainer since 2014. During that time, she has provided support for the men's and women's wrestling and volleyball programs. Prior to returning to her alma mater, Gammons worked at Cornell University as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for Cornell football for two years while pursuing her master's degree.
Outside of her time in the clinic, Gammons has worked with the sports medicine team physicians at the Hammond Health Center since 2015, providing them with clinical support and helping the student-athletes navigate their visits and referrals.
