ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College volleyball team was recently awarded the "Eco-Blazer" Club Award at the third annual Ithaca College Sustainability Awards that were presented at the IC Sustainability Week in the Pop-Up Pub during the week of April 16-25.
 
The "Eco Blazer" Sustainability Award is presented to a club, team, or organization that has taken on a meaningful sustainability initiative. The Bombers volleyball program was recognized with the award for tremendous support in campus sustainability efforts including the packing of over 1,000 individual meals. They also participated in a few trash clean up events around Ithaca hosted by GIVE club.
