Track & Field Competes at St. John Fisher Cardinal Classic

PITTSFORD, N.Y. –
The Ithaca College men's and women's track & field teams sent a small contingent of competitors to the St. John Fisher University Cardinal Classic on Saturday.

Talia Hutchinson was the highlight of the meet as she set a personal best mark of 4.01 meters in the pole vault to win the event and move up to No. 5 on the NCAA Division III performance list.

Lily Seyfert competed in three events, posting a winning performance in the shot put and followed that with a third place showing in the hammer and fourth in the discus. Seyfert marked 13.56 meters in the shot put, 34.02 meters in the discus and 47.12 meters in the hammer.

Kayleigh Milligan and Joy Petersen were runners-up in the respective events as Milligan clocked a time of 2:17.16 in the 800-meter run and Petersen finished the 1500-meter run in 4:50.20.

Erin Eastwood and Bree Boyle were third and fourth place performers in the pole vault with marks of 3.65 meters.

Maria Prattico took third in the 400-meter hurdles as she finished in 1:08.88 and Cecelia LaBonte placed fourth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.94 seconds. Athena Giotis was another fourth place finisher as she measured out 9.90 meters in the triple jump.

On the men's side, Parker Delgado won the javelin with a top mark of 45.80 meters and Daniel Musilli took third at 42.78 meters.

Raphael Campanile was the runner-up in the pole vault at 4.54 meters, which matched the best mark in the event.

Griffin Lupes finished third in the 800 at 1:58.32 and Noah McKibben secured third in the long jump with a leap of 6.04 meters.
