The national meet will begin at 2 p.m. in Cortland as six schools – Brockport, Cortland, Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Wisconsin-La Crosse, Wisconsin-Osh Kosh and Wisconsin-Whitewater – will compete for a team national championship. The individual qualifiers are assigned to rotate with the teams, and they will all be in the running for individual national titles.

All six Ithaca gymnasts – Lauren Babineaux, Leanne Desjardins, Jillian Freyman, Mya John, Emily Kobusky and Grace Murray – are paired with Cortland's rotations throughout the meet.

Murray, a three-time All-American, has been one of the best gymnasts in the country this season and she will compete on vault and floor. She qualified for the national meet on vault by receiving the highest score, 9.775, on vault at the NCGA East Region Championship and she obtained the highest SAS of 9.850 on floor. Murray was named the NCGA East Region Gymnast of the Year last weekend.

Freyman, a 2022 All-American, will compete in her third national championship as she turned in the best floor routine of 9.800 at the regional meet. Freyman's SAS of 9.8375 on floor this season ranked third in Division III.

Kobusky, a WCGA All-American in 2024, will also be making her third trip to the NCGA Championship as she qualified with the highest SAS out of the East Region on beam with 9.7563.

Babineaux is now a three-time national qualifier on bars as she held the highest SAS of 9.700 out of the region.

John returns to the national stage as she was a qualifier during her first year on bars. She will once again compete in that event as she earned a spot as an at-large selection after posting an SAS of 9.65 this season.

Desjardins makes her first trip to the NCGA Championship after turning in an SAS of 9.7188 on beam to earn an at-large spot.
