Liberty League Performers of the Week for October 5

Football Special Teams Performer of the Week – Andrew Rice

Andrew Rice scored nine points on a pair of made field goals from 23 and 32 yards, to go along with three made PATs in a 27-20 victory at Hobart on Saturday. Rice also averaged 58.2 yards on six kickoff attempts with one touchback.

Volleyball Performer of the Week – Naomi Clauhs

Naomi Clauhs and the Bombers are currently riding a five-game winning streak after going 2-0 last week. They swept RIT, 3-0, on Wednesday before battling to a 3-2 reverse sweep of Skidmore on Saturday. Clauhs compiled a .444 hitting percentage across the two contests, collecting 32 kills on 63 attempts. She recorded 10 kills against the Tigers while also adding two digs. The senior played a key role in the team's win over the Thoroughbreds, leading the offense with 22 kills. She added four digs and one block assist to her stat line. She leads the Liberty League with 184 kills and a .336 hitting percentage.

HONOR ROLL

Elliott Painting won the Fredonia Kara Hall Memorial Invitational with a time of 26:04.03 on the 8K course. A total of 147 runners were in action on Friday and Painting won by 10 seconds.

Abby Hennessy helped guide No. 20 Ithaca to a 3-0 week, including a pair of Liberty League wins as the Bombers outscored their opposition, 11-0. Hennessy scored a goal in each contest, tallying the game-winner in a 4-0 victory at Russell Sage to begin the week. She netted the second goal in a 3-0 win at St. Lawrence and the final goal of a 4-0 triumph against Skidmore.

Maeve Clark went 3-0 this season with 10 total saves as No. 20 Ithaca posted three shutouts and outscored its opposition, 11-0. Clark played 45 minutes in a 4-0 win at Russell Sage and then made six saves in a 3-0 shutout at St. Lawrence. She finished up the week with four saves in 53 minutes during a 4-0 win vs. Skidmore.
