Football Places Five on CSC Academic All-District Team

1/7/2026 1:06:00 PM

ITHACA, N.Y. - The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Football teams, released on January 6, are selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes football honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Ithaca College was represented by five student-athletes this season: Aidan Parry (health sciences, 3.845), Jon Ramsey (exercise science, 3.736), Sam Tourangeau (business administration, 3.698), Henry Takacs (finance, 3.657) and Jimmy Mullevey (business administration, 3.568).

In order for a football student-athlete to be eligible for CSC Academic All-District consideration, they must be a sophomore or higher in academic standing with a GPA over 3.5. They must have also played in 90 percent of the team's games or started in 66 percent of the contests.

Parry was a run-stopper on the best defensive unit in the Liberty League this season. From his interior line position, Parry logged 19 total tackles with 1.5 tackles for loss and a half sack. His ability to eat up blocks allowed the linebackers and safeties to make reads and pursue the ball with ease as Ithaca was the only team in the Liberty League to allow less than 100 yards rushing per game.

Ramsey, one of five captains on the team, started all 10 games at his defensive end position and notched 21 total tackles with 6.5 tackles for a loss of 36 yards and 2.0 sacks for 22 yards. He also recorded a pass breakup and two hurries.

Tourangeau returned from a season-ending injury in Week 1 of the 2024 season and put together a career year as a safety. He led Ithaca in total tackles with 87, to go along with 5.5 tackles for loss, a sack, forced fumble, blocked kick and four pass breakups.

Takacs was all over the field for the IC defense this season and led the unit with 8.5 tackles for a loss of 54 yards and 4.5 sacks for 41 yards. Takacs ranked fourth on the team with 50 total tackles, to go along with a forced fumble, fumble recovery, pass breakup and quarterback hurry.

Mullevey started all 10 games at left tackle for the Bombers this season and led the way for the No. 1 offense in yards (370.7) and second in scoring (28.4). The Bombers possessed the best passing offense in the conference and ranked second in rushing offense. IC was also the best first down and third down offense in the Liberty League.
