RESULTS
ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's track & field team hosted its first meet of the season as Cortland, Oneonta and TCNJ traveled to South Hill to compete inside Glazer Arena on Saturday.
Aynisha McQuillar finished first in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.79 seconds, while
Rachel Larson took second in 8.00.
Larson claimed first overall in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.77 seconds, while McQuillar also competed in the 200-meter dash and took runner-up in 26.21 seconds.
Lily Seyfert won the shot put with a heave of 12.58 meters and was first in the weight throw with a mark of 15.58 meters.
Valentina Wallin was the top runner in the 400-meter dash in 59.53 seconds and five Bombers finished within the top six.
Violet Sloan took third in 1:02.37, while
Julia Ryba was fourth (1:03.47),
Harper O'Neill was fifth (1:04.27) and Ava Butler came in sixth (1:04.54).
Kayleigh Milligan won the mile in 5:14.98 and
Lola Gitlin was a third place finisher in 5:22.95.
Jessica Goode claimed fifth in 5:26.16 and
Hannah Pawlowski was sixth in 5:27.38.
IC secured the top four positions in pole vault as
Teagan Kiger and
Talia Hutchinson both cleared 3.57 meters to take first and second.
Raessler Guthrie was third at 3.17 meters and Abby Repert was fourth at 3.02 meters.
Madeleine Wright won the high jump at 1.58 meters, while
Celia Ryan also cleared that height for third.
Cameron Ting took fifth with a mark of 1.53 meters and
Cecelia LaBonte was sixth at 1.53. Ting was also a fifth place finisher in the 60 hurdles in 9.37 seconds.
Joy Petersen was the runner-up in the 3000-meter run in a time of 10:52.92.
Alexis Brown measured out 5.17 meters in the long jump to finish in third, while LaBonte was fourth at 5.10 meters.
The Bombers entered two teams in the 4x400-meter relay and placed in the top four. The team of Wallin, Ryba, Butler and
Anisah Edgehill-Geter clocked 4:13.38 for third place and the relay of LaBonte,
Emma Anderson,
Maria Prattico and
Meredith Colla took fourth in 4:17.71.
Charlotte Powell took sixth in the shot put at 11.56 meters.
The Bombers will remain at home four its next three meets.
