RESULTS
CANTON, N.Y. – The Ithaca College golf program finished up play at the St. Lawrence University Invitational on Sunday at Appleton Golf Course with a first place finish and two-round total of 644 (+68). The Bombers shot 323 on Saturday to tie atop the leaderboard and then concluded the weekend with 322 on Sunday to win by 14 strokes.
Union was tied with IC after Saturday's round, but the Garnet Chargers fell back on Sunday with a 335. Appleton Golf Course is a par-72 course that measures 5,830 yards.
Brianna Morrison was the top golfer for the Bombers over the weekend with a third place showing with a 157 (+13). Morrison shot 77 on Saturday and 80 on Sunday as she carded five birdies over the weekend, all on the back nine.
Abby Bladen finished sixth as she moved up three spots on Sunday after rounds of 82 and 78 for a 160 (+16). Bladen made four birdies, and on Sunday, she shot a pair of 39s.
Helena Winterberg and
Annelise Stencel placed seventh and eighth following rounds of 162 (+18) and 165 (+21). Winterberg carded four birdies on Saturday and Stencel fired five birdies throughout the weekend.
Jada Segall shot 222 and was 32nd overall as an individual.
The Bombers are back in action September 20-21 at Union College.
