TEMPE, Ariz. – Six student-athletes on the Ithaca College women's tennis team were named 2025 ITA DIII Women's Scholar Athletes, while the team was also honored as ITA All-Academic Team as announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) last Monday.
In order to earn the ITA All-Academic Team Award, a program must have a team grade point average of 3.20 or above on a 4.00 scale. Across Division III, there were 135 men's tennis programs and 165 women's tennis programs that earned this award this spring.
Earning individual scholar athlete honors included
Alys Pop,
Taylor Crain,
Madeleine Sutro,
Ava Casell-Lapetina,
Aenessa Rylski and
Sabrina Cheung. Individual recipients must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year.
