ITHACA, N.Y. – Ithaca College men's lacrosse standouts
Michael Gillam and
Andrew Minard have been named Honorable Mention All-Americans by USA Lacrosse, as announced last week. The 2025 USA Lacrosse Division III All-America list recognizes the top players across the nation, with 52 schools represented in this year's selections. Honorees are chosen by USA Lacrosse staff and contributors.
Gillam, a short-stick midfielder, made a significant impact on both ends of the field this season. He collected 35 ground balls, caused five turnovers, and contributed offensively with two goals and two assists for a total of four points. His recognition marks the first All-America honor for an Ithaca short-stick midfielder since 2019. For his career, Gillam appeared in 50 games where he totaled 13 points on eight goals and five assists, while collecting 77 groundballs.
Minard, a junior goalkeeper, started all 19 games for the Bombers in 2025. He recorded 204 saves while posting an impressive 8.53 goals-against average and a .564 save percentage. Minard also scooped up 33 ground balls, and his goals-against average ranked among the top-20 in NCAA Division III.
The Bombers finished the season 10-9 overall and returned to the postseason for the first time since 2021.
