ITHACA, N.Y. – D3baseball.com released its Team of the Week for games occurring between March 24-30 and Ithaca College junior
Jack Colyer was selected as one of two relief pitchers to the Week 7 team.
In the first game of a doubleheader last Saturday, Colyer entered in the second inning as the Bombers trailed Clarkson, 4-0, at that time and he proceeded to throw 7.0 innings of relief and allowed just one hit and no walks with six strikeouts. Colyer would earn the victory as the Bombers came back to win, 6-4.
Colyer is the
15th player from Ithaca to be named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week since 2012, and the first since 2023.
The Team of the Week is D3baseball.com's weekly honor roll, in its 14th season (2025) of recognizing the top performers at each of nine positions from the previous week. Players are selected from nominations from their school's sports information directors. Selected players from D3baseball.com Team of the Week are then put up for nomination for NCBWA Players of the Week, which is awarded to one position player, pitcher and rookie.
IC, which is 12-8, has a three-game, home-and-home Liberty League series with RIT this weekend.
