RESULTS
ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's track & field team wrapped up competition at the Liberty League Indoor Championships inside Glazer Arena on Saturday and finished fifth overall out of seven teams with 44.5 points. RPI won the team title with 251.5 points.
IC earned nine points in the high jump as
Connor Yacomeni placed third overall but matched the top mark in the event at 1.95 meters.
Gabriel Lane took sixth with a clearance of 1.80 meters.
The Bombers also picked up seven points in the heptathlon behind a third place showing from
Matt Lokshin and eighth place finish by
Rhys Tickner. Lokshin scored 4480 points, highlighted by second place performances in the shot put and 60-meter hurdles, while Tickner tallied 4063 points.
Ben Buffone posted a third place showing in the 800-meter run to contribute six points as he posted a time of 1:54.29.
IC's 4x400-meter relay team finished sixth overall in a time of 3:31.16. The relay consisted of
Adam Mocho,
Aidan Loughlin,
Colin Lesher and Buffone.
Ithaca remains at home next weekend for the AARTFC Championships.
