ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's tennis team returned to its winning ways on Saturday evening, defeating the visiting Drew University Rangers 7-0. The Bombers improved to 1-1 on the season.
 
The Bombers dominated doubles action, with the No. 1 pairing of 
Taylor Crain and 
Alys Pop, as well as the No. 2 pairing of 
Sabrina Cheung and 
Ava Casell-Lapetina, both defeating their opponents 6-0. 
Lauren Rodriguez and 
Madeleine Sutro also triumphed, defeating Jada Wortheim and Elise Parisi 6-2.
 
In singles action, 
Taylor Crain made quick work of her opponent Mary Kalorin, winning 6-1, 6-0 to improve to 2-0 on the spring season. 
Alys Pop defeated Sophie Weaver 6-2, 6-3. 
Sabrina Cheung topped Drew's Natalia Zamora 6-3, 6-3, and 
Lauren Rodriguez was victorious over Riley Roesel 6-3, 6-0.
 
Rounding out the IC wins to complete the shutout, 
Madeleine Sutro went three sets to best Danielle Pettoni 4-6, 6-1, 1-0, and 
Aenessa Rylski won her match 7-6, 6-1.
 
Next up, Ithaca will travel to Binghamton University on Friday, February 21, with the matchup slated for 12 p.m.
