Liberty League Performers of the Week for November 3

Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week – Lola Gitlin

Lola Gitlin finished seventh overall at the Liberty League Championship with a time of 22:51.4 on the 6K course at St. Lawrence University on Saturday. Gitlin was the lone IC runner to earn Liberty League First Team honors and was 30 seconds faster than the next closest first-year runner in the championship.

Men's Swimming & Diving – Diver of the Week – Kian Long

Kian Long delivered an outstanding performance on the diving boards, sweeping both the 1-meter and 3-meter events to earn crucial points for the Bombers in their dual meet victory over RPI. Long scored 298.05 in the 1-meter and 242.25 in the 3-meter in Ithaca's 163-133 victory over the Engineers.

Men's Swimming & Diving – Swimmer of the Week – Ryan Cooke

For the third consecutive week, Ryan Cooke collected three individual wins during the most recent meet against RPI that Ithaca won, 163-133. Cooke claimed the 100-yard freestyle in 47.45—an improvement over his time from last week—while Spencer Alderson finished second in 48.33. Cooke also took first in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:46.50, more than three seconds ahead of the nearest RPI swimmer and later added a win in the 500-yard freestyle, clocking in at 4:51.90.

HONOR ROLL

Cam Paquette was all over the field during Ithaca's 49-7 win over Buffalo State as he registered six total tackles with 1.5 tackles for loss and he returned an interception 89 yards for a touchdown. Paquette also partially blocked a punt.

Chris Scully totaled 151 yards of offense on 102 yards rushing and 49 yards receiving with two touchdowns in Ithaca's 49-7 win over Buffalo State. Scully averaged 8.5 yards per carry and caught one pass.

Sophomore goalkeeper Katrina Varnum played a pivotal role in helping the Bombers secure the No. 5 seed in the upcoming Liberty League Championship tournament. Varnum recorded back-to-back shutouts in wins over St. Lawrence (2–0) and Bard (4–0), bringing her league-leading shutout total to eight. She made two saves against the Saints and contributed over 62 minutes in goal against the Raptors to complete the combined shutout.

Sydney Koehler continued her impressive season in the breaststroke events, sweeping both the 100- and 200-yard races in the meet against RPI. She led a one-two finish in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:07.35—more than four seconds ahead of teammate Emma Kidd (1:11.47). Koehler followed up with another dominant performance in the 200-yard breaststroke, winning in 2:29.13, ahead of Kathleen Papiernik's second-place time of 2:32.86.

In a dominant 3–0 week for the Bombers, first-year standout Addison Leadbetter totaled 15 kills while hitting at an impressive .394 clip. She was especially impactful in the sweep over Scranton, where she controlled the net with six blocks—including four solo efforts. Leadbetter added three more blocks against Bard and another against New Jersey City, bringing her season total to 66.

Wesley Slavin was instrumental in the No. 12-ranked Ithaca College volleyball team's 3–0 week, averaging 9.88 assists per set. She dished out 36 assists in the win over the University of Scranton, nearly recording a double-double with nine digs. Slavin also delivered a career-best performance from the service line against NJCU, tallying seven aces.
