LEXINGTON, Ky. – The nationally ranked No. 12 Ithaca College volleyball team received six All-Region III honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) on Wednesday. For the second consecutive season,
Wesley Slavin was named AVCA Region III Player of the Year. The five first-team selections mark the most in program history.

Slavin, the Liberty League Player of the Year, orchestrates Ithaca's offensive attack and leads the team with 1,106 assists (10.43 per set), ranking 10th nationally in Division III. She also finished tied for fifth in the conference in service aces (57) and eighth in aces per set (0.54). Slavin has totaled a career-best 237 digs and 50 kills, hitting .270 on her swings. As a team, Ithaca averages 12.16 assists per set, which ranks 23rd nationally.
Naomi Clauhs, also a Liberty League First Team honoree, has amassed 454.5 total points and a career-high, team-best 435 kills this season. She's added 69 digs and 33 total blocks while posting a .271 hitting percentage heading into the NCAA Tournament.

Ellie Benedict has enjoyed a career-best season, totaling highs in digs (597) and service aces (52) while excelling in serve reception. She averages 5.41 digs per set, which ranks 21st nationally in Division III.
Now a three-time AVCA All-Region selection, Gonzalez-Abreu has 390 kills, the second most on the team. The junior outside hitter has also amassed the second most digs (312) and enters the NCAA Tournament with 13 double-doubles, including five-straight entering the weekend.
Graper earns her second career AVCA honor after an Honorable Mention nod in 2024. The team leader in blocks, she has totaled a career-best 111 blocks, nearly doubling her previous season total. Graper has also contributed 119 kills and 25 block solos.
First year standout
Addison Leadbetter rounds out Ithaca's All-Region selections with an Honorable Mention selection. A three-time Liberty League Rookie of the Week, Leadbetter has made an immediate impact with 229 kills on a .287 hitting percentage, 75 blocks (second most on the team), and 40 service aces.
The Bombers face Plymouth State in the first round of the NCAA Division III Tournament at 4 p.m. on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in Wesleyan University's (Conn.) Silloway Gymnasium.
