Volleyball Performer of the Week – Wesley Slavin

In a 3-0 week that featured sweeps over tough Liberty League opponents Vassar and Union, Wesley Slavin powered the Bombers' offense, averaging 11.8 assists per set and totaling 71 assists. She opened the week with 35 assists in the win over Hartwick, then delivered a remarkable 47 assists in the three-set sweep at Vassar. Slavin also contributed defensively, tallying a combined 13 digs in the Liberty League matchups against Vassar and Union, while totaling three blocks on the week.

Volleyball Rookie of the Week – Addison Leadbetter

In a dominant 3-0 week for the Bombers, which included three straight-set sweeps, Addison Leadbetter delivered arguably her best offensive performance of the season. She totaled 28 kills while hitting at an impressive .567 clip. Against Hartwick, Leadbetter recorded 10 kills and added four total blocks. She followed that up with a season-high 13 kills at Vassar, swinging at a .667 clip. In the sweep over Union, she contributed five more kills, served up an ace, collected three digs, and added two blocks—bringing her season block total to 42.

HONOR ROLL

Sophomore goalkeeper Katrina Varnum lowered her goals against average to a league-best 0.45 as she collected her sixth shutout of the season in the Bombers 2-0 win over RPI. Varnum faced just one shot against the Engineers but stood tall in the 79th minute to record the save.

Ella Shorkey netted not only her second goal of the season, but it was her second game-winning goal of the season in Ithaca's 2-0 victory over RPI. Shorkey scored a brilliant solo goal as she dribbled past an RPI defender and the goalkeeper before calmly slotting the ball into the back of the net.

Nicholas Lang came up one reception shy of tying an Ithaca College school record as he hauled in 15 catches for 154 yards and two touchdowns in the Bombers' 24-7 victory at St. Lawrence on Saturday.

Joe Spirra notched five total tackles with a sack of nine yards and one interception in Ithaca's 24-7 win at St. Lawrence on Saturday.

Caleb Wandell averaged 37 yards on five punts, with a long of 44 yards, and made a 27-yard field goal along with three extra points, in Ithaca's 24-7 win at St. Lawrence on Saturday.
