RESULTS

ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College gymnastics team opened its 2025 season at home against Brockport inside Ben Light Gymnasium on January 12 and the Bombers were narrowly clipped by the Golden Eagles, 187.625-.186.550.

The Bombers started the competition on vault and scored 46.475, while Brockport received 45.250 on bars.

Madelynn Farragher got the competition underway by earning 9.125 and Natalie Steed scored 9.450. Caitlin Pellegrino was awarded 9.025 in IC's third spot, while Hana Miller received a score of 8.875. Grace Murray was up next and was awarded 9.550, which was the highest score of the day. Lauren Babineaux finished off the vault with 9.325.

Ithaca moved over to bars and put together a solid showing with 46.750 to extend their lead over Brockport to 93.225 to 91.950.

Camryn Flaherty started things off with 9.150 and Anya Kraenzel followed with 9.375. Marlena Bailey landed her routine with 9.500 and Kaylie Goodwin received 9.000. Lauren Babineaux anchored the rotation with a huge score of 9.725 to top the dual.

On the third rotation, Brockport moved into the lead with 48.525 on floor, compared to IC's 46.750. The score was now 140.475 to 139.975 heading to the final event.

Natalie Steed started off on beam with a solid 9.525 and Abby Chesshire was up next with 8.800. Caitlin Pellegrino matched Steed with a 9.525 and Kaylie Goodwin scored 8.900. Corey Foster was up next and received 9.050, Emily Kobusky turned in a 9.750 to close out the beam.

The Golden Eagles would secure their victory in the fourth rotation with 47.150 on beam, to Ithaca's 46.575 on floor.

Hana Miller was up first and posted a routine of 8.850 and Natalie Steed was next with 8.650. Caitlin Pellegrino turned in a routine of 9.125 and Abby Chesshire received 9.325. Corey Foster put together a solid performance with 9.600 and Grace Murray closed things out with 9.675.

The Bombers head to Ursinus College next Sunday, January 19 for a dual meet.
