ITHACA, N.Y. – D3football.com released its Preseason All-American Teams on August 8 as the start of the football season is just around the corner, and Ithaca College senior running back Jalen Leonard-Osbourne was named to the Third Team.

Leonard-Osbourne is coming off a stellar season in 2023, which concluded with the honor of Fourth Team All-American by D3football.com. Last year, Leonard-Osbourne accounted for more than 1400 yards of offense and 14 touchdowns.

He rushed for 1055 yards on 171 carries for an average of 6.2 yards per rush, to go along with 11 touchdowns and caught 42 passes for 401 yards and three more scores. Leonard-Osbourne was the first IC running back to eclipse 1000 yards in a season since 2012 and plastered his name all over the IC record book.

The Ardsley, N.Y. native broke off a long rush of 90 yards, which is fourth all-time, while his 208 yards in a single game is ninth. He also ranks fifth on the single game list with 239 all-purpose yards, second in single season all-purpose yards, eighth for single season rushing yards, eighth in yards per carry, ninth in rushing touchdowns and ninth in total touchdowns scored. Leonard-Osbourne also ranks ninth on the career touchdown list with 23.

Ithaca begins its season on September 7 at home against No. 8 Johns Hopkins University.
