UNION, N.J. – The nationally ranked No. 23 Ithaca College field hockey team made a statement win to get the 2024 season underway as the Bombers defeated No. 12 Kean University, 4-0, in Alumni Stadium on August 30. The Bombers took two shots off that opportunity, one of which was saved, but another corner was awarded, and a third shot attempt was turned away. The Bombers outshot Kean, 6-3, in the opening 15 minutes of action.

The Bombers put home their fourth goal of the contest with 8:31 to go in regulation as Snider capitalized on a pass from
Bella McCollister. The goal started on IC's sixth corner of the contest.
