ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's tennis team hosted Bard College on Senior Day on Sunday as the Bombers celebrated the career of 
Isabelle Bennett prior to the start of the match. Ithaca was able to win 9-0 and improved to 8-7 overall with two away matches left in the regular season including a Liberty League matchup against Skidmore College on April 27.
 
The Bombers were able to sweep double action with the top pair of 
Kendall Curley and 
Sabrina Cheung taking down Maya Kelly and Hanna Okalava 8-1 as 
Isabelle Bennett and 
Eliana Chelnick won 8-0 in the No. 3 slot. 
Ava Casell-Lapetina and 
Maddie Sutro took down Dana Muco and Paige Houghton by an 8-1 score.
 
In singles action 
Maddie Sutro double bageled Dana Mulco in the No. 4 slot. Bennett was able to earn a victory in her matchup winning 6-0, 6-1 and 
Kendall Curley bested Maya Kelly by set scores of 6-1, 6-0. 
Taylor Crain defeated her opponent in the top slot 6-1, 6-1 and 
Aenessa Rylski earned the other IC win (6-2).
 
The Bombers will return to action on Tuesday, April 16 with an away match at Hamilton that is slated for a 4 p.m. start.
