SCRANTON, Pa. – The Ithaca College women's swimming & diving team showed out in its season-opening dual win over the University of Scranton on Saturday afternoon. The Bombers were on the road as they won each relay race along with several outstanding individual efforts in a 207-92 victory.
 
Both Sydney Koehler and Samantha Bender had outstanding individual efforts winning two events each. Koehler won the 200-yard breaststroke over teammate Kathleen Papiernik with times of 2:32.03 and 2:36.21, respectively. The first year would also win the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:09.50. Samantha Bender won the 200-yard backstroke with a finals time of 2:10.94, winning the event by four seconds over a Royals swimmer. She also won the 100-yard backstroke recording a time of 1:00.80.
 
In diving action, Kailee Payne swept both the 1-meter and 3-meter with the Bombers finishing 1-2-3 in each event.
