GENEVA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's tennis team saw junior
Taylor Crain's fabulous run at the 2023 Northeast ITA Regional come to an end on Monday afternoon as she fell to her opponent from NYU in a semifinal matchup.
Crain marked her longest career run at the Northeast ITA Regional as the junior handled several strong opponents along the way to her matchup against Jimena Menendez from NYU. Menendez who ended up being crowned the singles champion bested
Taylor Crain 6-0 in the first set with the second set proving to be more competitive, but Crain fell 7-5.
Monday's event concludes the fall season for Ithaca who will return to action on February 18 for its first dual of the 2023-24 season against Drew University.
