Alys Pop continued to impress on Sunday with Crain punching a ticket into Monday's semifinals in singles action.
In doubles action, the pairing of Crain and Pop took on the No. 4 seeded duo of Dakota Fordham and Isabella Hartman from NYU in the quarterfinals round but fell 8-2 to their opponents.
Taylor Crain continued her strong run in the singles draw as this time she was tested in her matchup with RPI's Prisha Rapur dropping the first set 2-6, before prevailing 6-1, 13-11 to advance. She would take on familiar face Dakota Fordham and she easily dismantled her opponent by besting her 6-4, 6-0.
Crain will square off against NYU's Jimena Menendez on Monday in the semifinals round of the ITA regional.
The ITA regional champions in singles and doubles will be determined on Monday, September 25 with action once again beginning at 8:30 a.m.
