EWING, N.J. – Both the Ithaca College men's and women's tennis teams returned to action in its final tune-up before competing in their respective Northeast ITA's that will take place later this month. IC's men's squad saw them win a pair of matches and women's team saw victories from 
Taylor Crain, 
Alys Pop, 
Aenessa Rylski, 
Isabelle Bennett, 
Kayla Shenk and 
Maddie Sutro.
Siddharth Vaada took his opponent and fellow sophomore Alberto Thomas as he bested him by scores of 6-4, 2-6 and then won 10-5. Another win came on the indoor courts with 
Eric Dubilirer besting Aidan Twamley by an 8-4 score.
A big-time victory was scored by junior 
Taylor Crain who battled Aira Abalos from the Lions and bested her by scores of 7-6 (7-3) and 6-3. 
Alys Pop was convincing in her victory by beating her opponent 6-4, 6-0. The other wins came from 
Aenessa Rylski (8-2), 
Isabelle Bennett (8-3), 
Kayla Shenk (8-4) and 
Maddie Sutro (8-4) who each handily won their matches on the inside courts in one set, respectively.
The Bombers will return to action Saturday when they play TCNJ in doubles and then will take on opponents from NYU in singles and doubles action with matches beginning at 10 a.m.
