INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – It was another tight battle that took place on Saturday evening in the final day of the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships.
Jack Wadsworth collected more hardware this time earning All-American honors in the 200-yard backstroke.
In the morning preliminary race, he recorded a time of 1:44.07, to be seeded third for the championship final. Yurrii Kosian reset the NCAA record for the event in his heat to setup a showdown in the final. It turned out to be Tanner Fillion from Whitman that bested the field with a new NCAA championship record time. He touched the final wall at 1:41.49. Kosian finished second at 1:42.90 and
Jack Wadsworth earned a third-place finish with a recorded time of 1:44.44.
Stanley Zaneski competed in his final individual event of his career in the 100-yard freestyle. He placed 28
th after the morning preliminaries with a recorded time of 44.92. Tobe Obochi from MIT won the event in the championship finals with a time of 43.36.

James Collishaw qualified for the consolation finals in the 400-yard freestyle relays. Although they put together a better time in the prelims (3:00.40), the group of four were still Honorable Mention All-Americans with their 16
th place finish and recorded time of 3:01.06.
The Bombers totaled 57 team points for an 18
th place overall finish at the 2022 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships.
Jack Wadsworth was also the program's first National Champion since 1996 as he won the 100-yard backstroke with an NCAA record setting time on Friday.
