ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's basketball team boosted its winning streak to a whopping 16 games after notching a resounding 75-36 victory over Bard College inside Ben Light Gymnasium on Friday evening, February 18. With the triumph, the Bombers improve to 21-3 overall on the season with a 16-1 mark in Liberty League play and sweep the season series with the Raptors. Bard slides to 1-21, 0-17 with the loss.

- Ithaca controlled the game from the get-go, holding Bard to a 27.3 field goal percentage and never trailing once in regulation.
- Freshman Annabella Yorio finished the game with a team-high 10 points including a perfect 4-of-4 from the free throw line.
- Although she was only on the floor for nine minutes, Grace Cannon continued her red-hot campaign offensively, finishing with nine points on a 4-of-6 performance from the field to go along with four rebounds.
- Raptors guard Christina Kiser led the Bard offense and proved why she is currently the leading scorer in Liberty League behind her 25 points on the hardwood.
How It Happened
- IC came out of the gates strong as it built up a 22-11 lead after the opening quarter. Senior Lindsey Albertelli led the offensive attack with a quarter-high six points off of a trio of layups.
- The Bombers came out firing in the second quarter behind a Hannah Polce three-pointer from downtown to take a comfortable 27-11 advantage. This sparked a 17-0 run with seven of those points coming from Cannon on the floor.
- A beautiful reverse layup shot from Polce put an exclamation point on the ultra-efficient first half as Ithaca led 45-19.
- IC kept its foot on the gas in the second half, playing solid defense and creating a handful of turnovers to maintain the wide margin. Senior Brady Lynch had a pair of layups and Annabella Yorio posted four points to stake the Bombers to a 61-30 lead heading into the final quarter.
- Ithaca continued to shoot prolifically in the fourth, outscoring Bard 14-6 in the frame to cap off the home victory.
Ithaca College will conclude its regular season and vie for a Liberty League title tomorrow afternoon when the team squares off against Vassar College on Senior Day. Tip-off for the conference showdown is slated to begin at 2 p.m.
