Swimming & Diving Hosts LeMoyne in Exhibition Meet

RESULTS

ITHACA, N.Y.
 – The Ithaca College swimming and diving teams dominated LeMoyne College in an exhibition on April 10. The women had tough competition, winning by a score of 150 to 148, while the men won by a landslide with a score of 213 to 83.
 
Women's

The Bomber's women's team claimed the top three spots in the 1,000-yard freestyle, with Morgan Hoffman-Smith earning the top spot at 10:56.77. Emily Shorb's time was 11:16.60 to earn second place, and sophomore Josephine Hoffman was not far behind at 11:27.79.
 
Ithaca took second place in the 200 yard medley relay. The team of Lauren Brady, Jenna Molnar, Emily Vandersleen and Lauren Lubenow finished with a time of 1:56.65.
 
Erin Kiley took second for the Bombers in the 200 yard freestyle and had a time of 2:03.60. Lauren Brady, Ali Branch and Liv Schlackman filled the fourth, fifth and sixth spots respectively.
 
Ithaca's Morgan Hoffman-Smith earned third-place in the 50 yard backstroke with a time of 29.42. Emily Shorb and Sydney Breard finish fifth and sixth with times of 31.93 and 32.81.
 
The 50 yard breaststroke saw Jenna Molnar finishing second with a time of 34.50. Gabby Humphrey and Sarah Swinnerton finished with times of 35.17 and 35.84 to claim fourth and fifth place respectively.
 
Emily Vandersleen picked up a first place finish for the Bombers in the 100 yard fly with a time of 1:01.13, winning the event by over three seconds. Lauren Brady claimed third with her time of 1:07.02 and Liv Schlackman was not far behind at 1:07.21.
 
The 50 yard freestyle finished with Lauren Lubenow in the top spot, a time of 26.44 placing her on the podium. Vandersleen finished fifth with a time of 27.11.
 
Ithaca claimed second place in the 100 yard back stroke, Hoffman-Smith being the Bomber in question. Her time of 1:03.17 put her under three seconds behind the first place finisher, LeMoyne's Grace Thomas.
 
The 100 yard breaststroke ended with Bombers in the second, fourth and fifth positions. Jenna Molnar claimed second with her time of 1:14.63, while Gabby Humphrey earned fourth at 1:16.89. Sarah Swinnerton followed Humphrey in fifth with a time of 1:17.82.
 
The Bombers swept the podium in the 500 yard freestyle, Shorb's time of 5:29.96 earning her the top spot. Erin Kiley got second with her time of 5:31.40 and Holman capped the sweep at 5:35.73.
 
Ithaca's Vandersleen won the 50 yard fly at 26.89, and Schlackman found herself in the third place position with a time of 30.30. The Bombers had another first place finish in the 200 yard IM and Molnar claimed the title with her time of 2:20.49. Humphrey claimed fourth at 2:30.90 and Swinnerton placed sixth with a time of 2:33.65.
 
Ithaca's team of Lubenow, Kiley, Holman and Hoffman-Smith claimed second in the 400 yard free with their time of 3:53.66. Breard, Branch, Swinnerton and Maggie McGuire finished fourth for the bombers, the team finishing with a time of 4:11.15.
 
The 3-meter dive was swept by the Bombers, Ava Lowell taking the first spot with a score of 447.97. Rachel Lange and Kari Pawacio followed Lowell in second and third place with scores of 424.87 and 406.27 respectively. The 1-meter was dominated by Ithaca as well, with the top three spots once again belonging to the bombers. Pawacio had a score of 293.77 for first place, while Lowell took second with 276.30. Abby Marraccino took third with her score of 244.65.
 
Men's
 
The men's squad started the day with a win in the 200-yard Medley Relay, with the team of Tim Hector, Anthony Porto, Mikey Paulos and Stanley Zaneski earning a time of 1:37.99. Ithaca also took the second and fourth spots in the event.
 
The team of Dylan Haraden, Joey Pezzini, Matt Crysler and Gabe Ruby got second with a time of 1:42.74. Shane Conroy, Ethan Mossi, Jon Stangeby and Dennis Berg had a time of 1:45.56 to position themselves in fourth.
 
In the 100-yard freestyle, Reilly Kleinhen had a time of 10:56.09 for third place, and Luca Olivieri found himself in fourth at 10:59.30.
 
James Collishaw and Dylan Haraden claimed first and second for the bombers in the 200-yard free with times of 1:47.76 and 1:54.12 respectively. Crysler was not far behind with his time of 1:55.67 for fourth place.
 
Tim Hector found himself at the top of the podium for Ithaca in the 50-yard backstroke, finishing with a time of 24.71. Caleb Chryst and Shane Conroy claimed the third and fourth titles with times of 28.45 and 28.69.
 
The 50-yard breast stroke ended with two bombers in the top three. Mikey Paulos finished with a time 28.26 to take first and Joey Pezzini was not far behind in third at 28.40.
 
Porto had a first-place finish for the bombers in the 100-yard fly with his time of 53.42. Crysler and Mossi picked up the third and fourth places with respective times of 55.35 and 55.77.
 
Stanley Zaneski topped the charts in the 50-yard free, finishing in first with a time of 21.62. Collishaw was not far behind with a time of 21.94. Hector finished in fourth at 22.95 and Stangeby in sixth with his time of 23.87.
 
The top two spots in the 100-yard free were once again occupied by Ithaca, Zaneski earning another first place finish with a time of 49.04. Ruby followed close behind Zaneski, finishing with his time of 50.58. Josh Thibeau made an appearance in fifth place, finishing with a time of 52.26.
 
Ithaca swept the podium in the 100 yard back stroke, with Collishaw's time of 54.17 giving him the first place title. Olivieri and Chryst claimed second and third with times of 57.90 and 1:00.99 respectively.
 
Another sweep came for the bombers in the 100-yard breast stroke, this time with Mossi in the top spot after finishing with his time of 1:01.33. Next in line was Pezzini at 1:02.33, and Porto rounded out the sweep with a time of 1:03.15.
 
The Bombers' Haraden finished first in the 500-yard free with a time of 5:11.10. Kleinhen and Olivieri took third and fourth with times of 5:14.63 and 5:19.96.
 
Ithaca took second and third place in the 50-yard fly with Hector and Zaneski earning times of 23.86 and 24.13. Hosh Thibeau finished in fifth place at 25.25.
 
In the 200-yard IM, Paulos came out victorious with his time of 2:04.41 to put him in first place. The second and third place swimmers were Porto and Pezzini with times of 2:06.08 and 2:07.53 respectively.
 
The 400-yard relay had the team of Ruby, Haraden, Crysler and Collishaw placing in first with their time of 3:22.29. The team of Chryst, Conroy, Thibeau and Olivieri claimed third place with a time of 3:32.88. Fourth place was claimed by Spencer Brownewell, Kleinhen, Stangeby and Berg with a time of 3:35.68.
 
Ithaca's Justin Moczynski came in fist in the 1-meter dive with a score of 485.25, while Ethan Godfrey finished in second with 484.50. Theo Summerville placed third with 391.21.
 
The 3-meter dive was once again won by Justin Moczynski with a score of 276.0 and Summerville finished with 214.20.
