TROY, N.Y. – Liberty League commissioner, Tracey King, has announced the Winter All-Academic Teams in men's and women's basketball, men's and women's squash, and men's and women's swimming and diving. Recipients hold a cumulative 3.3. grade point average going into their season of competitions and be a sophomore standing. Ithaca College celebrates 61 total Winter Sport athletes who have overcome an especially trying time in their academic careers. Each of the Bomber teams awarded 10 or more student-athletes who exceled in online and flexible learning environments during the pandemic.
Â
"The 2020-2021 academic year has been an especially challenging year for all students," said King. "Not only have many student-athletes had to adjust to online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, but their traditional team activities have been altered as well. Despite the challenges that they've faced, they have continued to excel academically. I commend them for their resilience and hard work."
