ITHACA, N.Y. – As a part of the NCAA's increased effort to showcase student-athlete and membership voices, the governing body invited all colleges and universities to take part in the "Why I Vote" campaign video. The NCAA's message and request was forwarded on to Ithaca's SAAC members and other student-athletes for their participation.
In all, more than 50 IC student-athletes submitted a short 10-second video explaining "why they are compelled to vote" in this year's presidential election.
Below is a video compilation of all our student-athletes' statements, which has been sent to the NCAA. The NCAA will release a video of submissions from around the country on all their social media channels as Election Day nears.
