Women's Track & Field – Field Performer of the Week – Lily Seyfert
Lily Seyfert competed in all four throwing events over the weekend at the Moravian Coach P Invitational and produced three top three finishes. Seyfert won the shot put with a mark of 13.53 meters and was third in the discus at 41.96 meters and the hammer at 47.90 meters. Seyfert also placed ninth in the javelin with a mark of 32.34 meters.
Softball Pitcher of the Week – Mady Rowell
Junior
Mady Rowell lowered her season ERA to 1.59 and had a 0.54 ERA on the week, tossing 13.0 innings during a pair of Liberty League sweeps over St. Lawrence and Clarkson. Rowell earned the complete game victory in the circle striking out six, while giving up a run on four hits in the 4-1 win over St. Lawrence. She followed that up by scattering four hits and striking out five in the extra-inning victory over Clarkson.
HONOR ROLL
Jack Picozzi improved to 4-2 on the season during Ithaca's 9-4 win to open a doubleheader at St. Lawrence on Saturday. Picozzi allowed one run on eight hits and struck out three batters in 6.0 innings pitched.
Ethan Fantel went 7-for-16 (.438) in a 2-2 week for Ithaca as he totaled four RBI, three runs, three doubles, three walks and a home run. Fantel's biggest game in IC's series-opening win over St. Lawrence, 8-6, as he went 3-for-4 with a double and home run with two runs and two RBI.
Lily Cody put together a monster game against No. 24 St. John Fisher in IC's 15-11 upset over the Cardinals, which snapped their eight-game winning streak. Offensively, Cody tallied eight points on four goals and four assists with three goals coming on free positions. Defensively, she caused two turnovers and picked up three ground balls, and she also won nine draws in the victory.
Mikaela Dattilo put together one of the best games of her season last Saturday in Ithaca's 15-11 upset victory over No. 24 St. John Fisher as she made 11 saves, including nine in the second half.
Rachel Larson posted three top six finishes at the Moravian Coach P Invitational on Saturday as she won the 100-meter hurdles, finished sixth in the 100-meter dash and ran a leg on the second place 4x100-meter relay. Larson ran 13.76 seconds in the 100 meter hurdles, nearly a half second better than her season best and a .08 second personal best, which was the previous school record of 13.84. Her time moved her up to No. 3 on the Division III performance list. She ran 12.62 seconds in the 100 dash final, but posted a faster prelim time of 12.57 seconds. The 4x100 relay clocked in at 48.80 seconds.
Luis Crespo had another unbeaten week for Ithaca men's tennis going 2-0 in the No. 3 flight of singles. He began his week by helping the Bombers clinch a 4-3 win over RIT and defeated Alexander Sinclair by set scores of 6-1, 6-7. Crespo would go on to defeat RPI's Debarshi Sen on Sunday at No. 3 by scores of 6-3, 6-1.
Senior attacker
Brendan Occhino had another strong week for the Bombers including a game-high four goals in the 12-11 win over Vassar. Occhino matched a career-high four goals and netted a hat trick within the first half. He also matched a season-high scooping up five ground balls and scored the opening goal in the midweek matchup against Cortland.
Cate Murray had a strong weekend at the plate during a 4-0 weekend against St. Lawrence and Clarkson. Murray went 7-for-14 (.500) with a pair of doubles and scored two runs while driving in three RBI. The senior collected three hits, drove in two and scored the games opening run in the opening game against the Saints. She followed that up with a three-hit performance in the Saturday sweep over Clarkson, while maintaining a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage on the week.

Liam Carnahan and Zach Boweley delivered a standout performance winning by over 10 seconds and recording a time of 7:10.13 on the 2000-meter course. The crew executed an aggressive start, quickly moving ahead of both WPI entries. Under pressure from WPI's top boat, the Bombers maintained composure and continued to build their margin, ultimately securing an open-water victory.
