SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's swimming and diving team defeated Division II Le Moyne, 182.00-115.00, on Saturday afternoon.

The Bombers opened up the day with a win in the 400 medley relay as the team of
Jane Pfeufer,
Ashley Warren,
Jesse Ford and Emily Vandersleen swam to a first-place time of 4:11.32.

IC's team of
Julia Young,
Jenna Molnar,
Olivia Schlackman and
Anna Rubino finished third with a time of 4:19.72 while
Olivia Rubino,
Josie Michaels,
Alex Estanislau and
Kelcie McNamara took fifth in 4:28.81.

Junior
Morgan Hoffman-Smith won the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 10:59.11, winning by nearly 18 seconds. First-year
Emily Shorb took second place in 11:17.95 while
Cody Conte finished in fifth with a time of 11:52.71.

Ford, a sophomore, was the top Ithaca finisher in the 200 freestyle, taking second place with a time of 2:05.37.
Alison Branch finished in third place with a time of 2:07.60 while McNamara finished in fourth, racing to a time of 2:07.99.

Pfeufer won her first individual race of the day in the 100 backstroke, claiming the top spot with a time of 1:02.50. Young took second in 1:03.82 while
Anna Rubino finished fifth in 1:06.64.

In the 100 breaststroke, Warren was the top finisher for Ithaca, taking second place in 1:13.23. Molnar finished third in 1:15.35 while Michaels rounded out IC swimmers in sixth with a time of 1:17.44.

Schlackman took third in the 200 butterfly, racing to a time of 2:22.70, while
Tori Eastham finished fourth in 2:26.67. Estanislau closed things out with a fifth-place finish in 2:30.06.

Pfeufer was the top finisher for the Bombers in the 50 freestyle, taking second place in 25.37.
Paige Landers finished third with a time of 26.34 while first-year
Margaret Fox took fifth in 26.75.

Vandersleen, a first-year, was the top IC finisher in the 100 freestyle, taking second in 55.86. Ford finished in third place with a time of 59.04 while Fox took fourth in 59.13.

Pfeufer claimed her second individual race of the day in the 200 backstroke, winning the field in 2:14.61. Landers took fourth place with a time of 2:20.40 while
Olivia Rubino rounded out Ithaca swimmers with a fifth-place finish in 2:24.26.

The Bombers were victorious in the 200 breaststroke, as IC finished one and two. Warren won the race with a time of 2:36.14 and Molnar was the second-place finisher with a time of 2:38.07.

Hoffman-Smith was successful again, this time in the 500 freestyle, winning with a time of 5:23.34. She edged Le Moyne's Haley Decker, who took second in 5:31.32. Shorb claimed third place with a time of 5:34.88 and
Maura Beuttel took fifth in 5:47.64.

Vandersleen was once again the top finisher for IC, taking second in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:02.19. Eastham claimed third in 1:06.45 and Estanislau finished fourth with a time of 1:06.55.

In the 400 IM, Molnar was the top finisher for the Bombers, taking second in 4:54.48. Schlackman finished third with a time of 4:56.82 and Conte raced to a time of 5:09.38 for fifth.

The Bombers closed out the day with a first-place finish in the 200 freestyle. The team of Ford, Hoffman-Smith, Landers and Vandersleen won the field with a time of 1:42.51, edging second-place Le Moyne by more than two seconds.

IC's group of
Anna Rubino, Young, Fox and
Olivia Rubino finished third with a time of 1:47.42 while Branch, McNamara, Beuttel and Eastham claimed fifth in 1:49.93.

In diving action – which took place on Friday evening at Kelsey Partridge Bird Natatorium – first-year
Eliana Wallock swept the boards with two wins.
Â
In the 3-meter, Wallock won with a score of 254.30 while
Ava Lowell took second with 226.70 points.
Karalyn Pawcio finished in third with a score of 219.60.
Â
Wallock then scored a 257.85 on the 1-meter board to win the field. Lowell once again claimed second with 241.15 points and Pawcio took third with a score of 218.35.

The Bombers are back in action in December with the three-day Bomber Invitational, starting on December 6 in Kelsey Partridge Bird Natatorium.
