GREENWOOD, Ind. – Ithaca College men's soccer seniors
Max Barish and
Tom Dillmann were named to the 2019 Google Cloud Academic All-District team, as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) organization on Thursday afternoon.

The pair was named to the District III First Team, which is made up of schools from New York. The Liberty League was well-represented on the list, as players from Clarkson, Hobart and RPI were also honored.

To be nominated for this award, the student-athlete must be either a starter or important reserve on his/her team and hold a minimum 3.3 cumulative grade point average. Additionally, the student-athlete must have also completed one full calendar year at the nominating institution and played in at least 50 percent of his/her team's games.

This is the third year in a row Barish has received all-district honors, as he was also named to the District III First Team as a sophomore and a junior. He is a Politics major and currently carries a 3.906 grade point average.

On the field, Barish – a team captain – has played in all 19 games for the Bombers, notching six starts. He has netted two goals and one assist during his senior campaign.

Dillmann earns all-district honors for the first time in his career. The senior is an Economics major with a 3.73 grade point average.

As one of the core members of the Bombers defense, Dillmann has played and started in all 19 games for IC, tallying 1,571 total minutes. He has also recorded a team-high four assists on the year.

Barish and Dillmann now advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America Team ballot, which will be selected later this month.
