The Dutchmen answered on their next trip down the floor, but IC's comeback was capped off with a three-point play by Ezema to give the Bombers their first lead - which stood for the remainder of the contest - at 36-35 heading into halftime.
Ezema continued his stretch of scoring to start the second half as he tallied four straight to give the Bombers a five-point lead, 40-35, within the opening minute. Union responded with eight of the next 10 points to bring things back to one point at 43-42, which then set up the torrid shooting display by Flood.
By the 11:56 mark, IC pushed its lead to 11 points at 55-44 before the Dutchmen went on a 6-0 run over the next 1:54. The Bombers once again found their shooting touch with nine unanswered points over a 3:12 stretch to secure a 14-point cushion at 64-50.
Union was unable to get back to within single digits the rest of the game. Ithaca would go on to establish a pair of 17-point leads before finishing off the contest with the 85-69 win.
