FINAL RESULTS
ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's swimming and diving team defeated Union on Saturday afternoon, 197-97. IC took first place in all-but-one swimming event.

Prior to the action starting, the Bombers honored their lone male senior,
Marshall Hendlin.
Â
In the opening race, the 200 yard medley relay, the team of
Bradley Keith,
Andrew Mikhailichenko,
Nate Bartalo and
Stanley Zaneski took first place with a time of 1:37.33.

Hendlin,
John Mosier,
Nick Bonnabeau and
Kellen Scanlan finished in third place with a time of 1:43.71.

Jake Hewitt won the 1,000 yard freestyle for the Bombers, swimming to a time of 10:22.04. Pat Daly took third with a time of 10:48.50 and
Augie Carlozzi finished fourth in 10:58.21.

In the 200 yard freestyle, IC swept the top three spots. Bartalo came out on top, finished the race in 1:48.18. Dan Meyers took second with a time of 1:49.18 while Mosier finished in third with a time of 1:50.83.

Keith was victorious in the 100 yard backstroke, taking first in 55.35. Hendlin took second place with a time of 57.51.

In the 100 yard breaststroke, Mikhailichenko was the winner, finishing the race in 59.56. Carlozzi took third place with a time of 1:04.88 while
Aidan DeBolt finished in fourth with a time of 1:06.98.

Hewitt won his second race of the day – the 200 yard butterfly – in 1:57.02. Daly took third place with a time of 2:08.34.

The 50 yard freestyle was the first of two races that Zaneski won on the day. In the 50, he took first with a time of 21.39. Scanlan finished in second place with a time of 22.52.

Zaneski then won the 100 yard freestyle, swimming to a time of 47.58. Meyers came in second place with a time of 49.47.

Hendlin was the victor in the 200 yard backstroke, finishing first with a time of 2:02.74. Keith took second place with a time of 2:03.08 while
Liam Maginnis finished fourth with a time of 2:13.40.

Mikhailichenko won his second race of the day, the 200 yard breaststroke, with a time of 2:13.20. Carlozzi finished in third place with a time of 2:20.65 while Mosier took fourth after swimming to a time of 2:22.05.

For the third time, Hewitt was victorious, this time in the 500 yard freestyle. He took first place with a time of 4:59.83.

The lone race that the Bombers did not win was the 100 yard butterfly. Meyers was the top finisher for IC, coming in second place with a time of 54.42. Mikhailichenko took third with a time of 54.62.

Bartalo won his second race of the day in the 200 yard IM, finishing in 1:59.69. Mosier took third place with a time of 2:05.41 while Hendlin took fourth with a time of 2:05.65.

The Bombers rounded things out with another win in the 400 yard freestyle relay. The team of Zaneski, Meyers, Scanlan and Bartalo took first with a time of 3:20.42.

Bonnabeau, DeBolt, Hewitt and Maginnis took second place after swimming to a time of 3:27.04.

In the three meter dive, the top IC finisher was
Justin Moczynski, who took fourth place with a total of 256.25 points.
Brian Coburn finished in fifth with 237.10 points while Benajmin Pesco came in sixth with a score of 183.15.

Moczynski was also the top finisher for the Bombers in the one meter dive. He finished in fourth place with a total score of 284.25. Coburn took fifth with a score of 211.80 while Pesco finished in sixth with 179.85 points. Will Murtagh rounded out the IC divers, finishing in seventh with 150.00 points.

The Bombers are back in action next Saturday when they host the Ithaca Invite, slated to begin at 1 p.m.
