HOBOKEN, N.J. – Four players reached double-figures on Saturday afternoon as the No. 25 Ithaca College women's basketball team defeated Stevens, 71-60.

Sophomore
Grace Cannon notched a double-double as she scored a career-high 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the win.

Junior
KellyAnne O'Reilly netted 18 points on 7-for-11 shooting, including 4-for-5 from behind the arc.
Cassidy O'Malley netted 17 points while picking up five assists as well as three blocks.
Annie Giannone rounded out the double-digit scorers with 11 points and six assists.

The game between the former Empire 8 rivals was back-and-forth from the jump, as the teams exchanged leads several times through the first half. Steven maintained a slight lead in the opening minutes of the game before IC scored seven straight points to take a 17-11 lead, capped off by an O'Reilly three-pointer.

A Lily Taeuber layup with 41 seconds left cut the Bombers' lead to 19-15 to head into the second quarter. O'Reilly, however, drained another three just two seconds into the second quarter to build IC's advantage back up to seven points.

Following another three from O'Reilly with 8:12 left that put the Bombers up 25-17 and forced Stevens to call a timeout, the Ducks' went on to score eight straight points to tie it up.

Meghan Douglas started the run with a layup at the 7:45 mark before Christina Li drained back-to-back three-pointers, knotting the game at 25 apiece.

The Ducks eventually built up a three-point lead following an Emily Nunez shot from behind the arc, but the Bombers closed out the first half with four points from O'Malley, heading into the locker room tied up, 33-33.

The Bombers came out of the break to build up a six-point lead, capped by a three from senior
Allie Tunick, but the Ducks continued to battle and cut that advantage to just two points. It was not until the end of the third quarter that the Bombers started stringing things together to build up their eventual double-digit lead.

With less than two minutes left in the third quarter, O'Reilly netted a layup and followed that up with a three-pointer to give IC a 48-41 edge, their biggest lead of the half.

The Bombers followed that up with four straight points to open up the fourth quarter on back-to-back layups from O'Reilly and Cannon. IC and Stevens exchanged points for several minutes before a free throw from Giannone with 4:58 left put the Bombers ahead by 10 points.

After two Ducks' free throws to bring IC's advantage back down to single-digits, Giannone and Cannon netted two layups in a row to take the biggest lead of the game, 63-51. Stevens' Jess Broad hit a jumper with 3:31 left before O'Malley netted two free throws to push IC's lead back up to 12 points.

Stevens' Christina Li hit two free throws and a jumper to cut IC's lead to nine points with 2:12 left, but the Bombers used strong free throw shooting in the final minutes to hold off the Duck's a come away with their fifth win of the year.

The Bombers are back in action on Tuesday for their last home game of the first semester as the host Rochester at 6 p.m., as part of a double-header with the men's team. IC then rounds out the 2018 slate with games against Capital and Scranton next weekend at the Hilton Scranton Poinsettia Classic.
