ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's swimming and diving team dominated Division II Le Moyne on Friday evening, outscoring the Dolphins 155-82.

The Bombers and Dolphins swam a shorter, 13-event program in which six different IC athletes won at least one individual event. Sophomore
Morgan Hoffman-Smith won two individual races while graduate student
Anna Belson was victorious on both diving boards.

Ithaca opened up the day with a win in the 200 medley relay. The team of Hoffman-Smith,
Ashley Warren,
Jaclyn Pecze and
Genny Tripler edged Le Moyne's second-place team with a time of 1:53.90.

First-year
Jesse Ford was the top finisher for the Bombers in the 1,000 freestyle, taking second place in 11:21.14.
Maura Beuttel took third in 11:46.59 while
Katie Conte rounded out the top five, finishing in fifth place with a time of 12:15.08.

Hoffman-Smith won her first race of the day in the 200 freestyle, swimming to a time of 1:57.66. First-year
Karolina Baranowski finished third in 2:04.77 while
Tori Eastham took fourth with a time of 2:05.18 and
Kelcie McNamara finished fifth in 2:06.65.

Pecze was victorious in the 50 freestyle with a time of 25.64, edging out Le Moyne's Claire Rejman by just .03 seconds.
Josie Berman finished in third with a time of 25.64 while
Caroline Bissaillon took fourth in 26.55.

Le Moyne finished one-two in the 200 IM and Warren was the top IC finisher in third place. Warren raced to a time of 2:23.72.

In the 200 butterfly,
Kaitlyn Scott finished in second place with a time of 2:22.42 while
Alex Estanislau took fourth with a time of 2:23.58.

The Bombers were once again victorious in the 100 yard freestyle as Triple won the field with a time of 55.50.
Angelina Domena also finished within the top five, swimming to a time of 57.73.

In the next race, the 200 backstroke, Hoffman-Smith won her second race of the day with a time of 2:11.72, winning by nearly four seconds.
Rachel Smertz finished in third place with a time of 2:21.46 and
Emma Whitney rounded out the top five with a time of 2:27.12.

First-year
Olivia Schlackman won her first college race with a victory in the 500 freestyle, swimming to a time of 5:30.60.
Hannah Parbst came in fifth with a time of 5:38.52 while Eastham finished in fifth with a time of 5:40.34.

In the final individual race of the day, Warren won the field with a time of 2:36.10, winning by nearly three seconds.
Casey Koenig came in third after swimming to a time of 2:40.04 and Baranowski finished in fifth in 2:41.77.

The Bombers claimed the top spot in the 200 freestyle relay as the team of Ford, Bissaillon, Pecze and Tripler raced to a time of 1:41.97.
Diving
Â
Ithaca swept all five spots on the one-meter board, as Le Moyne had no entries.
Â
Belson continued her success from earlier this season, notching a score of 478.70, winning by more than 42 points.
Jocelyn Pawcio took second with a score of 436.65 while
Samantha Lanzafame finished third with 411.55 points.

Ava Lowell finished fourth with a score of 354.60 and
Malia Farrar took fifth with 324.20 points.

Things went the same way for IC on the three meter, with Belson winning the field with a score of 292.50. Pawcio finished in second with 263.80 points and Lanzafame took third with a score of 236.60. Lowell took fourth with a score of 215.35 while Farrar rounded out performers in fifth with a score of 192.45.

The Bombers are back in action in three weeks for the Bomber Invitational. The meet is set to run from November 30 to December 2 and will feature competitors from Cornell, Hartwick, Alfred, Nazareth, Springfield, Le Moyne, SUNY Geneseo, Shippensburg, Marywood and Rochester. Action on Friday evening will begin at 6 p.m. while Saturday and Sunday will start at 10 a.m.
