Dedication Ceremony to Be Held for A&E Indoor Pool on Saturday Evening

ITHACA, N.Y. – On Saturday, prior to the evening session of the 8th Annual Bomber Invite, there will be a short ceremony recognizing the dedication of the indoor pool in the A&E Center, the Kelsey Partridge Bird Natatorium.
 
Commencing at 5:40 p.m., the ceremony will feature the Bird family, who made the Kelsey Partridge Bird Natatorium possible, as well as Ithaca College's swimming and diving coaches, Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Susan Bassett and Ithaca College President Shirley M. Collado. Lee Bird and his wife Linda Partridge Bird are both 1986 graduates of Ithaca College. While at IC, Lee was a swimmer for the Bombers.
 
The ceremony will last about 20 minutes prior to the start of the evening session at 6 p.m., and may also be streamed online.
